The short version
Qovery charges a platform fee of $2,999 per month for up to three clusters and 20 users, each additional cluster costs $399, and the platform comes with its own build minutes, preview environments and a service catalog. Clusterward costs €99, €299 or €799 per month for two, ten or unlimited clusters, with unlimited users, applications and tenants in every plan. If you need several clouds at once, Qovery is the right choice; if you’re staying on Scaleway and want to onboard customers via pipeline, you pay a tenth with Clusterward.

Multiple clouds
If you run AWS, GCP or Azure alongside Scaleway, Qovery gives you one interface for all of them. Clusterward only knows Scaleway – on purpose.
Preview environments and CI/CD
Qovery builds an environment per pull request and includes the build pipeline. Clusterward builds images, but not temporary environments.
Enterprise compliance
HIPAA, HDS and DORA evidence in the Enterprise plan, plus a control plane that can be installed air-gapped. For regulated enterprises, that’s the benchmark.

Customer onboarding built in

Scaleway directly, with no abstraction layer
Kapsule, RDB and Object Storage are controlled via the Scaleway API, not through an intermediate layer. Everything stays visible with kubectl and in the console.

Scaleway costs come on top in both cases and are identical, because both tools create the resources in your own Scaleway project. The difference lies solely in the fee for the control layer.
Which tool for whom
Choose Qovery if you need to run several cloud providers at once, need preview environments per pull request, or are required to provide regulatory evidence such as HIPAA or DORA. Choose Clusterward if your applications are meant to run on Scaleway, you regularly set up new customers with their own database, domain and bucket as a SaaS vendor, and you want the platform fee to stay in proportion to your cloud costs. Both tools keep your resources in your project – you can switch in either direction without data loss.
