Scaleway Kapsule is the managed Kubernetes service of the French cloud provider Scaleway. Scaleway runs the control plane with the API server, scheduler and etcd; you decide on the node pools your applications run on. In the shared variant, the control plane costs nothing – you pay for nodes, load balancers, storage and databases.
What Kapsule doesn’t include is everything above the cluster: ingress, certificates, deployments from Git, database connections, secrets, backups and monitoring. That is exactly the layer Clusterward takes over – the resources on this page explain how.
