Kubernetes platform pricing: one measure, three tiers

Clusters, databases and buckets are created in your own Scaleway project. That’s why you see every resource on your Scaleway bill, and after you cancel, they still belong to you.

• Can I cancel monthly?

  Yes. All plans run monthly and end at the close of the current billing month. There is no minimum term and no setup fee. After you cancel, clusters, databases and buckets remain in your Scaleway project – Clusterward only removes its control layer.

• What counts as a cluster?

  Every Kapsule cluster registered in your workspace – provisioned by Clusterward or connected via kubeconfig. A cluster you remove from the workspace or tear down via teardown no longer counts from the next billing month. How many applications, environments, tenants or users run on a cluster is irrelevant to the price.

• What happens if I need more clusters than my plan allows?

  When you register or provision a cluster above the limit, Clusterward suggests moving to the next plan. Running clusters and applications are never stopped. An upgrade takes effect immediately and is prorated; a downgrade takes effect from the next billing month.

• What Scaleway costs come on top?

  The resources in your Scaleway project: Kapsule nodes, managed databases, Object Storage, load balancers and Public Gateway. You pay for them directly to Scaleway at its public prices; Clusterward adds no markup. The Scaleway pricing calculator shows the cost of your configuration up front.

• How does billing work?

  Monthly by invoice in euros, net plus VAT, payable by SEPA direct debit or bank transfer. Invoices are issued by BitKollegen GmbH in Hannover. On request, we conclude a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

• Is there a trial?

  Yes. After the demo, we activate your workspace free of charge for 30 days, with all features and up to 2 clusters. All you need is your own Scaleway project; Scaleway bills the resources you create during the trial as usual.

• Is billing per user or per application?

  No. The price depends only on the number of clusters. Users, applications, environments, tenants, pipelines and builds are unlimited on every plan.

• Is there a discount for annual payment?

  No. All plans run monthly at the same prices. You don’t pay in advance and remain free to change plans or cancel at any time.

• Why does Clusterward cost less than other platforms?

  Clusterward controls one provider instead of many, runs no build infrastructure of its own and sells no compute. Builds run in your cluster or on GitHub Actions, and you pay for resources directly to Scaleway.

• What happens to my data if I cancel?

  Clusters, databases and buckets stay in your Scaleway project. Before cancelling, you download your workspace configuration – applications, environments, services, domains, pipelines – as a JSON file under System → Security.
